First steps for Chalco bauxite plan in Guinea
NewsAluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) has announced that it is investing US$500M in a bauxite project in Boffa, in the Boké Region, 125 miles northeast of Guinea’s capital Conakry.
Step forward for Buchanan
StandardLiberia is to begin exports of timber from the port of Buchanan in Grand Bassa County again after the United Nations lifted its ban on the trade, which was imposed in 2003 after illegal logging operations had been used to fund civil war in the country.
