When fully installed, the Pound Sterling 100 mill Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) plant at West Burton Power Station in Notts, UK, is expected to convert 90 percent of the SO2 that the 2000MW coal-fired plant would normally emit, into desulphogypsum (DSG).
