Turkmenistan port

Turkmenistan is planning to construct a new port at Garabogaz, a small town on the Caspian Sea coast, close to its border with Kazakhstan. According to the country’s vice-premier for industry, Batyr Ereshov, the new harbour would be used to export locally produced chemical products, amounting to 3,500t of urea granules and 2,000t of ammonia per day.
