Deepwater Arctic coal terminal planned

Russia’s VostokCoal, licensed to explore and develop coal reserves (estimated at around 600 Mt) of the Arctic Taimyr peninsula, is planning to build a 10 Mtpa coal terminal at the Chaika cape, some 50 km off the Kara Sea harbour of Dikson.
