Expanded Oshawa grain terminal welcomes first test shipments
NewsThe Port of Oshawa Grain Export Terminal has received its first test shipments after expansion, increasing storage to 20,000mt and loading speed to 12,000mt/day.
As if to compound the Port of Prince Rupert’s problems, caused mainly by declining forest industry exports, Sulphur Corporation of Canada Ltd (SCC) , which was building a sulphur handling facility on ground leased from coal operator Ridley Terminals, collapsed in June this year leaving the facility 80 percent complete.
