Turkey’s Medcem Global Pazarlama AS has placed an order with Cargotec-owned Kalmar for two Siwertell road-mobile ship-unloaders. The 10 000 S trailer-based, diesel-powered Siwertell unloaders will be built at the Siwertell fabrication plant in Bjuv, Sweden, with delivery scheduled for October and November this year.

Kalmar takes over Siwertell

The Siwertell bulk handling business is to leave Cargotec-owned MacGregor and become part of the Finnish firm’s Kalmar operation, Bulk Materials International has learnt. The move comes as Cargotec prepares for MacGregor to be listed separately on the Singapore Stock exchange in H2/2013.
