Ertsoverslagbedrif Europoort (EECV), Rotterdam’s leading iron ore terminal, has finally unveiled its plans for a new coal port in Rotterdam Europoort, which is due to come on stream in June 2003. The new facility at the Dintelhaven complex will occupy an area of 36.5 hextares, with a planned handling capacity of 5.5 mta and a storage capacity of 750,000t.
