Bidders vie for Esperance port

Despite renewed doubts over Chinese iron ore demand, 36 different firms have pursued a new Western Australian port opportunity. The port of Esperance has now short-listed five proponents to build and operate a new multi-user iron ore facility, after earlier extending the expressionsof-interest deadline to accommodate the level of interest.
