BHP deploys its first electric excavator
NewsBHP has deployed its first electric excavator, the R 9400 E Liebherr, at its Yandi iron ore mine, featuring an electric motor and autonomous cable reeler.
Bardon Aggregates opts for Liebherr
StandardFollowing succesful experience operating a Liebherr L 564 wheeled loading shovel for truck loading, stockpile maintenance and general materials handling duties, Bardon Aggregates, part of Aggregate Industries, which extracts and processes roadsurfacing gritstone at Venn Quarry in the UK, has opted for a Liebherr R 974B-HD Litronic face shovel, with a bottom dump bucket as its principal production machine.
