StandardIn case of a loading terminal, two main components are generally required – the shiploader system plus associated conveyors and the supporting jetty. As the latter is a civil construction project and the former mechanical engineering work, the two components are usually installed by different contractors who have to be coordinated by the operator, unless the owner appoints a general contractor for the overall work or a consultant for the coordination.
