StandardMetso Minerals claims the cost of maintaining its Cable Belt conveyors can be greatly reduced thanks to a new longer-lasting pulley it has developed. The group recently started full production of ‘d’ profile rims, which provide a wider groove than traditional polyurethane pulley rims and are designed to reduce the amount of wear that takes place, thereby extending the pulley’s life.
