BHP and Mitsubishi open Oz mine

Joint venture company BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) yesterday officially opened its Caval Ridge Metallurgical Coal Mine in Central Queensland.

BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA), the joint venture between BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi, has announced it will cease production at its Gregory open-cut metallurgical coal mine, part of the Gregory Crinum complex in Queensland, from 10 October 2012.
