NewsSandvik has completed the acquisition of Polymathian Industrial Mathematics, an Australia-based provider of advanced mine optimisation software and services.
Siemens buys Preactor
StandardSiemens has acquired UKbased planning and scheduling specialist Preactor Group. Siemens will assign Preactor to its Industry Automation Division and add its APS software solutions to its Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) product portfolio. Preactor has a staff of 70 and its planning software has been installed by over 4,500 companies in 75 countries. Siemens plans to integrate Preactor’s software into its existing products.
