Oshima Shipbuilding Co Ltd has called its option to order four additional 70t Konecranes-Munckloader shipboard gantry cranes rom KCI Konecranes. The new cranes will be delivered in 2009 and installed on two 55,000 dwt vessels ordered by Singapore-based shipowner Masterbulk Pte Ltd from the Nagasaki shipyard. The market value of these crane types is around US$6M per unit.
