Political hurricane hits Baton Rouge

The Port of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which handled a considerable amount of diverted shipping after hurricane Katrina roared through the Port of New Orleans last year, has been involved in a political hurricane of its own, with its chief victim being the port’s CEO Roger Richard, who was fired by the port commission in mid-February.
