With demand for mobile mining and handling plant at an all time high and complaints from manufacturers and operators that the delivery times for crucial components, such as tyres, now stretching into months, Michelin has responded with a planned US$85 mill investment over the next five years at its earthmover tyre production facility in Lexington, South Carolina, USA.
