Gold Valley exports first shipment of iron ore from Port of Esperance
NewsSouthern Ports and Gold Valley marked a milestone as MV Sifnos departed the Port of Esperance with 78,000t of iron ore.
No grain, yet low pain
StandardAustralia’s Port Kembla Port Corporation (PKPC) has delivered a strong trade result for 2002/03 despite the impact of the drought on grain trade. Total throughput of 22.7 mt for 2002- 03 represented a marginal contraction over the previous year but remained remarkably resilient considering Australia’s drought saw grain shipments fall 2.3 mt to just 840,000t.
