No grain, yet low pain

Australia’s Port Kembla Port Corporation (PKPC) has delivered a strong trade result for 2002/03 despite the impact of the drought on grain trade. Total throughput of 22.7 mt for 2002- 03 represented a marginal contraction over the previous year but remained remarkably resilient considering Australia’s drought saw grain shipments fall 2.3 mt to just 840,000t.
