Fortescue ore project ramps up

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd of Australia is proceeding apace with its project to export 45 mtpa of iron ore through a new facility at Port Hedland in Western Australia. Fortescue has a tenement portfolio covering 35,000 km2 within the Pilbara Region’s rich Hamersley Mineral Province.
