US grain exports expected to further rise
NewsGrain exports from the US are projected to increase 12% in 2024, driven by a rebound in maize shipments, aided by normal Mississippi River water levels.
Global grain production is expected to reach a record high of 2.4 bt in 2012, an increase of 1% from 2011 levels, according to a new report conducted by the Worldwatch Institute’s ‘Nourishing the Planet’ project.
