Bedeschi, Rulmeca, and Bonfiglioli are just some of the many Italian engineering companies that have an excellent reputation in the materials handling sectors.

Bedeschi will supply four new eco-hoppers to Ghana’s Port of Takoradi, following their 2023 delivery of a tailor-made plant enhancing terminal management.

The system will receive limestone lumps of max. 600mm and will give as output limestone lumps <50 mm.

The system is controlled by multiple leveling sensors to monitor the quantity of coal in the hoppers and optimize the blending performances.

Voith TurboBelt TPXL coupling drives will power three of the four conveyors, the longest of which is a world record for a conveyor without a mid-belt drive at 16.3 miles long.
