New port for Namibia

The government of Namibia is to launch a pre-feasibility study into the construction of a new port at Angra Fria and associated railway. Angra Fria is located in the far north of the country, 850 km from Windhoek and close to the Angolan border. The project has been mooted for several years but no official study has previously been undertaken.
