Konecranes MHC with new drive to Bremen
NewsWeserport, the joint venture of Rhenus Group and ArcelorMittal Bremen GmbH, has taken delivery of a new mobile harbour crane for handling general and project cargo at Terminal 1 in the Industriehafen.
Rhenus on the rise
StandardRhenus Midgard, Lower Saxony’s leading port management group, which is part of the Dortmund-based Rhenus AG & Co KG, increased its throughput to 9.4 mt last year, up 38 per cent on 2000. Following an internal reorganisation of the parent company, Rhenus Midgard is now part of a newly created Rhenus port logistics division.
