Chornomorsk to become grain hub

Getting the best out of a pneumatic unloader depends as much on the operator as the Machinery.

Plans for Mozambique’s third coal port have been approved. It will be built at Macuse, in Zambezia Province and near the mouth of the River Zambezi, between the two existing coal ports of Beira and Nacala.

Switzerland-registered Risoil has launched phase one of its grain terminal at berth 11 of the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Chornomorsk (former Ilyichevsk).

Novorossiysk Commercial Seaport (NMTP), the largest stevedoring company in Russia’s Black Sea, is planning to upgrade its existing facilities and undertake a newbuild project in order to increase its total handling volume from last year’s 157 mtpa to 170 mtpa this year and 224–237 mtpa by 2020.
