US-based Macawber Engineering has won a contract from South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&GC) for the supply of low-velocity dense-phase ash handling systems for the McMeekin plant in South Carolina. This is believed to be the first time a major North American utility has opted for such a system.
