Coking coal hot

BHP Billiton (BHPB)’s decision to increase its coking coal export volumes to 100 mtpa by 2010 (see Bulk Materials International September/ October 2004, p7) appears to have paid off following a deal with Posco, the South Korean steelmaker, which has agreed to pay US$125/t when its current contract in April expires.
